Malham Cove.

On Saturday we followed the Pennine Way from Malham, up the steps around the LHS of the Cove, and then over the limestone pavement at the top.

We saw people with spotter telescopes looking up at the cove and we thought they were observing climbers, visible on the rock face. We found out later they were observing a peregrine falcon's nest.
On reaching the RHS of the limestone pavement at the top of the cove we followed the Pennine Way up a narrow valley to Malham Tarn. We walked around the Tarn and then returned by road to Malham catching a view of the cove in the distance.
It started of cloudy, early in the day, but finished up quite sunny.
